Snorkel Christmas Island questions

I see there are a few dive/snorkel excursion operators on Christmas Island.  Wondering specifically about snorkelling there if anyone has done a boat tour with snorkel stops can personally recommend one?  It would be for March 2022.  Our ship is there from roughly 

8-5.   I will email some operators also asking if whale sharks might still be in area.
