Unable to give you any firsthand experience with any tour guides - as our planned cruise stop in Ecuador for this past Oct was of course cancelled, but we had a tour booked through Narwell Tours (https://www.narwelltours.com/), which looked quite interesting.

In summer 2016 we toured with Lincoln Guaman for 2 full days (8+ hrs each day) prior to our Celebrity trip. Lincoln grew up in the Quito area and has very good English language skills. He was very helpful with planning what we wanted to see on our 2 days. We emailed Lincoln and he responded with a list of things to see and do during a day trip. We let him know what we were interested in and he sent us back recommended itineraries. We had a great time and highly recommend Lincoln. Several stops can be combined into a full day of touring.
