PORT ROYAL Posted January 5, 2021 #5 Share Posted January 5, 2021 What does the Australian Minister of the Yarts and previous Cultural Attché, Sir Leslie Patterson, have to say on the matter? Could it remove the odour of an Australian Technicolour Yawn? 😊
NSWP Posted January 5, 2021 #6 Share Posted January 5, 2021 VB is the worst tasting beer in Australia so a VB Cologne would be revolting. Give me Old Spice or Tabac after shave - retro, how I like it.

NSWP Posted January 6, 2021 #9 Share Posted January 6, 2021 (edited) Woollies stock the Old Spice, I bought a couple of bottles on my Woollies home delivery, $15 a bottle. Better than all these weird smelling mens colognes they sell nowadays. Ye olde TABAC is a great brew as well. $19 a bottle @ Priceline. Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted January 6, 2021 Author #10 Share Posted January 6, 2021 It's amazing how many designer men's fragrances there are now. I remember way back when I was in my late teens, when Old Spice was about the only thing used at the time, and Brut was released. All the young guys tbought it was so cool because it wasn't the same as their Dads wore. 🤣 It wasn't too bad either, from a female perspective. 😁

NSWP Posted January 6, 2021 #12 Share Posted January 6, 2021 (edited) OK for the dinosaurs...a couple of mens hair fixes. I recollect going to the barbers late 60's and early 70's and the barber trying to put these on my hair, nooooo! Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted January 6, 2021 Author #13 Share Posted January 6, 2021 My Dad loved Brylcream. Again there are so many pastes and waxes and other mens hair styling products these days. DH uses some sort of gunk. I hate having anything like that in my hair so rarely use any hair products other than shampoo and conditioner.

The Royal Air Force chaps had a nick name 'The Brycreme Boys', the RAF base barbers must have ordered it in 44 gallon drums, back then.
Rare MicCanberra Posted January 6, 2021 #15 Share Posted January 6, 2021 I may have more taste (or maybe my wife does) but I use Obsession by Calvin Clein. Did use Brut 33 as a young teenager for a few years though.
