Using TA to book Casino Offers?

I realize its probably too late now to change anything but I have 3 casino offers  booked with Princess and I made the bookings directly with the casino department.  Realizing I am missing out on nearly 1.5K in gift cards from Costco by not using them.  Are 3 way calls an option for these?  My issue with using a TA is that in these uncertain times not being able to deal directly with Princess regarding changes and possible cancellations due to not being able to sail plays havoc with my control issues lol.

Looking at a 20 night cruise for next year and wondering if a TA is the way to go??

Lots of views but no responses as of yet.  So do people use an outside travel agent to book or does everyone book casino offers directly with Princess?

We never ,ever use a TA.I have heard all the reasons to use them, but none of the reasons ever hold up.Especially for a casino offer. The TA simply will not know enough about how they work. For example...we had a 7 day complimentary cancelled....when we checked about this we were told by the Casino Dept that we could book up to a 20 day complimentary cruise in its place.....perhaps a TA would not have that info...

For free rooms book directly, as your TA will only make $ from your booking if you upgrade to a better cabin category for a fee.

Thanks, we have upgraded to a mini suite on all our bookings.  Will keep it in mind for future bookings though.

Try using an outside agent that specializes in casino/cruise comped bookings. They have arrangements to be compensated based on your casino play. A far different world than regular cruise travel agents. Of course cannot name them here, but they can easily be found with an internet search. Advantage in using them are better comps and ability to intervene to assure credit lines are approved or will help you get a better cabin, for example.
