QE Dress Code "Relaxation" on Hot-Weather Itineraries?

Cunard say it is acceptable not to wear a jacket when it  is too hot but only when they deem it so, and this seems to be only when in Australian waters. Then this seems to me too hot is being used as an excuse to alter dress code to please a specific local market.

For consistency , the existence of the  hot weather code makes feeling too hot a reasonable excuse not to wear a jacket

They should

- either let people take off their jacket if individuals feel it too hot,

- or get rid of the " hot weather relaxation code"

I'm in favour of the latter,

I don't know about consistency, but I'm in favour of whatever Cunard decides, with the caveat under performing  aircon resulting in a very hot restaurant allows overheating passengers to go against jackets required, and remove them on the very few occasions it happens.
