I just got an e-mail from Foxwoods offering me a free cruise.  Has anyone else gotten this?

Not from Foxwoods but I've had offers from Cosmopolitan and Venetian in Las Vegas.  We did use an offer for an inside cabin in Dec '19 for the Sky Princess.  We upgraded to a mini suite for a very reasonable cost and had an amazing time.

Not sure how NCL does it but we had to pay taxes, port charges and a $200 non refundable deposit which we got back as on board credit.

We have gone on NCL cruises from CET.  The NCL cruises are booked through Casinos at Sea (CAS).

I would guess it would be similar.   Our certificates would tell us what type of cabin we would be comped like an Inside, OceanView, Balcony for example.  You would pay a $20/per night/per person admin fee plus Port Taxes/ Fees.

Example, for a 7 night cruise for two it would be 2 x $140 plus port taxes/ fees.

You would also get whatever promo NCL is running at the time you book that is valid for the cabin type you were comped.  They are always running some type of promo at NCL.com.

Also, a comped cruise through CAS would usually give you 'Free drinks while playing in casino'.  You could verify that with CAS when you book your cruise.  (In case they change from past practice.)

The agents at CAS are extremely friendly & helpful when you call with questions or to book your cruise.  We have gone through several cancelled cruises with them this past year .  They have been very patient and helpful with re-bookings.

I received the newest Foxwoods offer.  Yes, $20 per person per night admin fee, plus port fees and taxes.  If you elect the open bar as one of your perks, then you pay the gratuity on that.  If you pick the specialty dining, you also pay the gratuity on that.  I believe right now the perks offer is all five, which also includes an amount of free internet and I believe a $50 excursion credit (per day, I think, but only applies to the person booking, so can't be split).  Can't remember what the 5th perk is.

For Foxwoods, it really doesn't matter what level you are (I'm platinum), they have some other kind of algorithm that helps them and CAS decide which type of cabin you get offered and which cruise itineraries.  Most get an inside, but you can pay for an upgrade.

Right now, because of Covid, they are being generous in the sailing time.  You must book within 6 months of receiving the offer, and sail within 18 months of receiving the offer.
