The countries that have followed these necessary procedures have seen a decline in hospitalizations and deaths. The sad fact is we may reach herd immunity in the US this year, but the rest of the world is way behind the US in vaccinations. Some have not even begun. Thus a further delay in cruises. The Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine is being sold on a non-profit basis, $3 per shot. There is so much pain ahead for humanity. I dream of hugging my grandkids and children and being able to cruise. But my nightmare is the effect COVID is having on the underdeveloped world.
