Alaska Opens Vaccinations to All Alaskans

Alaska is leading the country and making vaccinations available to all Alaskans age 16 or older. Alaska may well be the safest place to be this summer!

 

If we could just figure out a way to get the cruise ships there...

If this were the only criteria...in fact, it is perhaps the least complicated issue.

We have been vaccinating aggressively here.  My husband and I are both over 65 in age and are in excellent health.  We received our first doses of Moderna on January 15th with the second dose on February 12th.  

 

One of the reasons Alaska has done so well is that the state public health officials have been able to successfully partnership with the tribal governments.  But another reason for the rush to get jabs in willing arms includes concern that the Brazilian variant has been found in Anchorage.

Don't need a ship to get me there. Booked my flights today. Will be up there again  this summer for 7 weeks.
