Government discussions on UK cruise restart

A new pack of brochures arrived today, featuring, among others, cruises (which have already been cancelled) before the new start dates. Also a leaflet promoting a cruise calling at Guernsey, which even I know is not accepting cruise ships. What is going on??

I just wanted to comment that I have seen reports saying someone named Robert Courts, who is the minister for maritime affairs, is in discussion with other parts of the UK to restart cruising in the UK only, potentially from May 17th.

Yes, but it would be a brave CEO to start planning and spending money on a start on that date!

Yes, but interesting (as well as very sensible) that it is UK only cruising which is being considered.
