You've probably heard the news already... summer sailings for these four lines, and I picked up the rumour that Cunard will have a ship ready.

Viking and Fred aren't asking for vaccinations, but other procedures will be in place.

Very exciting!

P&O are coastal cruising only with no stops and using just two ships Iona and Britannia. Britannia is doing an overnight in Liverpool right at the end. Booking from 22nd March. Only for passengers who have had two jabs. So no good for children it seems.

Cunard is using just the Queen Elizabeth, also we think just for coastal cruising. No itineraries as yet.

Just to rain on the parade ...FCO website dated this year and currently valid

The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office advises against cruise ship travel at this time. This is due to the ongoing pandemic and is based on medical advice from Public Health England.

Cruise ship travel means staying overnight for at least 1 night on a sea-going cruise ship with people from multiple households.

Our advice against cruises applies to international travel on a ship that is exclusively for pleasure or recreation, providing overnight accommodation and other leisure facilities such as entertainment venues or swimming pools.

Cruise lines will be able to restart domestic voyages on 17 May, a group of MPs have been assured.

The maritime minister, Robert Courts, appeared at a virtual meeting of the All Party Parliamentary Maritime and Group (APPMPG).

Do you have a link to the P&O itineraries please, I can't find any details? Have Viking published details of their itineraries yet? Thank you.

Details have been sent to past UK resident pax only. Not yet released to the general public.

So now the list seems to be: Viking, Fred, P&O, Saga, Princess, Celebrity, Marella, Disney, MSC, all around the British Isles.

Hurtigruten are also hoping to start.

You  missed out Cunard! On the Queen Elizabeth. Stopping at ports on some cruises too.
