Temperature checks and sunburn

I test all the ones we have received for our facility, maybe 200.  Not one has ever registered 98.6.  Always lower.  Also, you can change the reading by holding it  a couple of inches difference to your forehead.

It should measure body temperature not skin temperature. 

We had temperature checks on our sailing last year, we certainly covered the hot environment, food and alcohol consumption (but probably not the exercise) all mentioned above and it didn't impact our temperature reading.

Went to concert in St Augustine last weekend they took a temperature check. We were talking to the guy doing them. He was using something looked similar to a radar guy police use. He told us in the thousands of concerts and people he’s tested never once has anyone had a fever. I know a lot of people that had Covid and never ran a fever so really don’t get the point of
