As an update, reporting in today’s Buenos Aires Times, Argentina will soon receive almost 4 million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine. Additionally, they report that almost 18% of the population have received their first vaccination. This past week the country received 1 million doses of the Russian Sputnik vaccine.

I am also very interested in the progress against the virus in South America.  We also have booked a cruise scheduled to end in Buenos Aires next year around mid-March.  I am leaning towards rescheduling (again) for 2023.

A rapidly moving target down there.  We moved our trip from Jan 2022 to Jan 2023 to let things settle down another year.  Quite disappointed, but comfortable thing to do.
