Does anyone have any Pro or Con tips on the Cat 1 Cabins?  Have walked by them many times, and now considering one for a 13 night cruise.  Have done Cat 2, 3, and 4.

Thank you!

I have not stayed in a Cat 1. The only negative feedback that I have heard is that the forward Cat 1 cabins might experience a bit of early morning noise when the decks (their ceilings) are scrubbed first thing in the morning. The aft deck Cat 1 cabins seem to escape this problem.

The cabins on the Sun Deck (top deck) are accessed by walking in the open and have no shelter when it rains as you walk to/from them.  The next deck down have a verandah and as you probably realise people walk through it as it is really just a part of the deck.  You can prop your door open for extra ventilation and sit just outside.

Regards John
