Headed to PH resort Cancun right now. Same resort as @Saint Greg. I will try my hardest to keep this updated and give you all the food and drinks to fill your days! We will be there until Tuesday with one planned excursion to the Isla Mujeres. Tell your friends and let’s party!!

We flew out of Dallas… we have a short layover  at Houston-Hobby. Time for our first trip cocktail.. patron perfect margaritas at Pappadeaux’s

We booked the Adult Scene star class junior suite. My husband is a big beach person, so I didn’t think we would use the swim out much. And of course, we liked the adult side because we left our kids at home. Star Class includes some different perks like personal concierge service, free hydrotherapy, different liquors and a separate lounge. I’ll show a picture of the list of amenities once we get there.

Lunch is shrimp gumbo and I absolutely LOVE their crab cake appetizer.

Some extra back ground info… we have had 5 cruises cancel between Jan and May of 2021. We take our “couple” vacation in the spring. We take our family vacation in the fall… with some road trips in between. Once our May cruise was canceled on the Carnival Horizon, I decided we were going to Mexico. I narrowed it down between Royalton Chic, Royal Sands and Planet Hollywood, and @Saint Greg really sold PH to me. The Hotel Zone during Covid soured me on the other 2. Also, originally we were going to take an excursion to a ruin sight, but with the elevated Covid numbers in Cancun, we decided Isla Mujeres is enough.

Our driver said they fight bulls here. Limited seating due to Covid. I’m interested. Would like to see that or wrestling while here.

Drive was good. 40 minutes from the airport. Having issues due to a star class reservation that isn’t registered as star class.

Got checked in and changed in the room
