We've dined at least twice in each other premium dining venues and at least 3 times at 150 Park and chops. The food has been good, but nothing to write home about. In terms of food, just in my kids, wife and mine's opinion the food in DCL is generally much better than RCL, even the unpaid/included in fare one. Food at the MDRs in Royal (Oasis and Freedom) is mediocre across the board. Norwegian MDR/included food is much, much better. If you're into good eats in Mega cruise ships (and assuming that was your only criteria for choosing): 1. DCL 2. NCL 3. RCL Well, Disney easily costs twice as much, and I will heartily disagree with you on NCL. Sailed them three times. They are the worst experience food wise in the 9-10 lines we've been on. FWIW, I've never said Royal is perfect, just trying to show what I've seen. You'll see more MDR and regular sailings in future installments. But you'll also see more CK and specialty dining as well

If you're an alcohol drinker, DCL actually is a better deal since you can bring and buy and use (i.e. no waiting until the last night) alcohol of your choice in every port of call. Umm...this is not factual. Only beer and wine allowed on DCL. DCL stopped the carry on of alcohol many years ago. Check the Dcl site.

lakelorain Posted May 29, 2021 #94 Share Posted May 29, 2021 Great photos. Didn't RC announce, at the beginning of the Covid break, that they were going to redo the menu's? Maybe it was just a dream. 🙂
