Celebrity Blue Chip Club Offers

Has anyone received any recent offers from the Blue Chip Club?   I had one booked on Summit for July in Bermuda and rebooked for next year, but I haven't gotten anything from them for months.  I realize they weren't sailing, but wondered if they were waiting to get the OK to sail before they started sending stuff out again.  I'm also sure they're getting plenty of paid passengers eager to cruise again, so they probably won't be comping as many casino cabins.

Follow up - I sent the Blue Chip Club an email asking if I had any offers, as I hadn’t received anything for almost a year.  Got an email back with around a dozen offers, and happy to say I booked an ABC Islands 9 day cruise for the end of August.

The BCC agents both in Wichita and Miami are very good. Call them. I have learned of offers that I was never informed of via e mail. Now the BIG question is whether they will extend status beyond the end of the year. Not a lot of earning opportunities to n this tough environment.

Would you have a direct number for them? Calling the listed number for the Blue Chip Club is a nightmare, holds over two hours. I sailed with them in July, gained amethyst status but not one email from them, no offers, nothing

I don't have the number but good luck.  We got an offer for free balcony last week.  Can't get through on the number.  Today we get on the Edge and the offer expires on 9/13.  Gonna ask on the ship if they can book it.  If not I guess we missed this one.  Has anyone ever booked through Blue Chip while on ship?

Maybe you can send them an email. They probably won’t reply in time but when you get off the cruise you can argue that you did respond to the offer before the expiration date. You might also get the casino host on board to help you. They might have a direct line. When you received the offer was it by email, regular mail or did they call you?

I booked the March 28 ABC Islands 11 night cruise - was on hold at Blue Chip number for about 45 minutes, but finally got through.  Very happy with the offer and the Blue Chip agent that took care of me.  Got a balcony on the bump with an oversized balcony.  You might want to try again.

I just submitted for this one using the online method.  I debated a lot about it and figured just go for it and who knows there may not even be any availability left now.

 

My challenge is it is still soon (in my mind) especially for border crossing and flying so I have hesitation but I am telling myself to maybe just let go a bit.  Also, an offer without drinks (for me) means still paying out a bit so I had to remind myself it's not 'free' in the sense of everything I may end up paying out.  Yes A LOT cheaper but not free.  I have researching whether anyone has received good offer on drink packages as that would change the picture a lot.

 

Anyway, we shall see first if I get my first selection of March 28th as the other two I had to select are not as desirable and I didn't want to be going too much sooner that that date.

I was unaware that there is an online method. I have been finding it extremely difficult to get any information via the phone. Can you please share how you were able to see you offers on line. Thanks

I got my offer(s) via email.  Within the email there was an option I could select that took me to a page where  I could choose 3 sailings in order of preference.  I did end up calling as I wanted to ask them something but only by choice as the online should have worked.

 

Oh and I have had offers expire in the past and they still had them in my profile (when I called much later) and I was able to book from ones still showing availability.

Thank you for the info. I have called them many many times because I never receive any emails or regular mail from them, although I’m at the amythest tier. They claim the will rectify the problem but of course  they never do. I think that my only course of action is to call them periodically to find out if I have any offers

Welcome 😞 and that sucks.  I am Amethyst too so should be no difference there but we all clearly know there is some magic to the sprinkling of pixie dust and not sure anyone will ever fully figure that out.  I've had same challenge where I would hear nothing for long long long time and then suddenly something would arrive in (snail) mail and now I have started getting email now and then.  Still surprises me when I get them.  Shame though that it puts more load on them to take call for blind inquiries.

 

Definitely worth your calling though and I would even suggest if you have a cruise in mind to ask them what they could offer as I got a pleasant surprise (discount applied) for a 2023 cruise I had been pondering.

Yes I will continue to call them thanks. It’s frustrating though because you can be on hold literally for hours. I prefer Celebrity to RCCL but I tend to cruise with RCCL much more since they send at least one offer a month via snail mail and are quicker to pick up the phone.
