PortHole inside cabins

That totally depends on the ship. Some port hole WINDOWS are about 4' across and there are no port holes in inside cabins. Inside cabins have no windows at all unless you are on some of the mega ships with windows or balconies overlooking the mezzanine. On most ships the port hole windows are way forward. You will hear the ocean swells hitting the hull.
