Moorea lagoonarium

Does anyone know of a cruise excursion or tour to the Moorea Lagoonarium?  We will be in port on a cruise next April and would love to go there to snorkel.  Thanks for any info.

The lagoonarium is privately owned  .... we usually drive there and then they take you from the main island to the motu where the lagoonarium is located on their boat. You might ask the owner if there is anyone that provides transportation to their facility or a group tour which includes transportation.

I recently read that the Lagoonarium is permanently closed.  Does anyone know if this is true? Thanks!

We did the Lagoonarium a couple years ago and the water was murky. If it's closed I'd not feel too bad.

If you're looking for other things to do in Moorea, the Hilton offers a terrific day stay. Beautiful beach, great snorkeling, nice pool and a fantastic lunch. Includes beach toys too. We loved it and will probably do again.  Two years ago it was about $90 and you can secure roundtrip transport from the dock to the Hilton by Torea Nui Transport or Albert's.

Seems like a long time away so hoping most will be “back to normal” by then.  Correspondence with them has been great.  I love the small boat (similar to ours so hubby will be happy, lol) and only 4 of us.
