Pre-Cruise Travel

Just a heads up.  I was to leave today  for vacation and flight cancelled rescheduled for tomorrow .  Luckily it wasn’t for a cruise.  This really can be a cruisers nightmare.    I usually make my own flight and night before cruise accommodations on my own.    I think I will have my TA do it all.   Most hotels require 24 hour notice of cancellation to avoid a financial penalty - wouldn’t want to count on them to be sympathetic.

Air travel for the 4th of July weekend has exploded and is back to pre-Covid levels. Unfortunately, the airlines don't have enough pilots, flight attendants, mechanics, call center people to handle the load and they are having to cancel hundreds of flights every day. Planes that are going are 100% full.
