Noticed TUI have announced they are closing down their base/ hub at Edinburgh airport summer 2022.

 

The airline is looking at either using other airlines on their Edinburgh package deals or flying in aircraft from other airports to pick Edinburgh passengers up.

 

I suspect it will reduce/limit our options of fly/ cruises from our capital

I suspect you`re right and that changes will come from this pandemic for business reasons that we won`t see coming until they happen. 

Happy to fly from Edinburgh for my Marella cruise on any aircraft/airline but we will see how prices/flight times are in the future. Glasgow may well follow suit. Wait and see.

I remember a few years back it was a hired in aircraft they used for most flights. 

Would be okay if they could do a deal with Jet2

We in Southampton are getting good service from Logan Air, and Eastern air at this present time, with B.A to do weekend work to Southern Europe.
