Keep your fingers crossed but our mayor has been very very very slow to open anything. She is still trying to say that everyone at Saint’s games this year has to wear masks.

I live in Shreveport so I know how your major has mistreated  you guys.  It is about the same drive to either port.   New Orleans is usually cheaper.   But I have family in Galveston County  so I save on a hotel and parking if I go that route.   But Still Like to compare.

Louisiana has been very slow to get vaccinated. Even when bars gave away shots for shots. Don't try to blame the mayor for everything. I'm not sure how people think they are going to cruise without being vaccinated.

A matre d' I know emailed he is schedule to be on Glory in early September.

I am in Louisiana.  And the Major in New Orleans has done a bad job.

So have the people.

Honestly at this point I am in no hurry for the rest of LA to get there vaccine.  Just increase my chance of winning the Vaccine lotto.    😃

We are booked on the October 3rd sailing of the Glory so hopefully by then.  I see others have posted September 1st.  New Orleans is our favorite travel place so we are going in 2 days early and staying 4 days after.

Ok. I see a ship on sept 5th, so I guess that is port opening? No cruises departing sept 1 out of new orleans.

Let's hope it's a go. The more ships resuming the better. Cheering them on. Have gone out of new orleans many times.
