We are doing one of these next Summer. Aside from the Smithsonian-vetted speakers, all-inclusive tours and all-anglo marketing, I wonder what else will be different? 

 

Hopefully we're not signing up for well-done steaks, freedom fries & "Have a Nice Day!" (and goodness knows what other American & Australian stereotypes the French have)... 🤣

 On a NatGeo cruise we had in addition to the lectures a binocular (to take Home), NatGeo branded water bottles and refill stations instead of the water bottles in the rooms (suites still had them) and a lot of NatGeo books and magazines in the library and one free kayak trip
