ALASKA CRUISE FROM SEATTLE TODAY

So excited to know that the Millennium is sailing out of Seattle today for her first Alaska cruise. I will be doing this cruise next month. It will be my 8th Alaska cruise and I am still excited to be cruising again after a year and a half. Hope someone on board will share with us.

Sept 24. Hoping it goes. Booking airfare tomorrow. Third time after two cruises cancelled andI cancelled one. Best shot is Seattle, in my opinion.

We are also on the September 17th and 24th sailings.  While I also hope someone will post from the Millennium I also expect there will be reports on the Alaska CC forum.  

 

There was a story in the Anchorage Daily News this afternoon (we subscribe electronically) about the Serenade of the Seas port call in Juneau.  Apparently vendors were selling shore excursions from the Juneau dock kiosks.

There was a letter from Celebrity on behalf of the State of Alaska informing passengers that they would be required to wear a mask while off ship in the Alaska port of calls.

I wonder if you will have to wear a mask on the river rafting excursion. Have to hope you dont fall out of the raft.

Was that on board? That’s interesting. I don’t mind, but it is interesting they haven’t said anything to passengers beyond local regulations apply.

Letter was at the check-in counter - available for passengers to take.

I can live with the Alaska requirement to mask-up in port so long as I can remove my mask when dining/drinking in local restaurants!
