Travelguard question

Recommended Posts

I found some information of interest to you and decided to post here rather than the Celebrity board.

I went to the TravelGuard website and found a Covid disclaimer that said they would not pay any Covid related claims for cancellation, trip delay, or trip interruption. They will continue to pay for medical treatment, but the disclaimer makes the other parts of the policy useless for your purpose. Check the banner at the top of the page.

Another idea is to look for policies with generous trip delay or trip interruption coverage. That could be used to pay for quarantine if the policy does not have the Covid exclusion. The ones I’ve seen have low daily rates and policy limits, but that may be all there is unless the policy specifically names a benefit for quarantine as Trawick does.
