I ordered the combo vaccine card/passport holder as well (thanks to the member who first posted that idea!)  The pile of “stuff” to pack for my cruise is getting higher and higher (not including clothes!). Good thing I’m driving, not flying, to FLL from RDU.

You are driving from NC through SC and GA and to Southern Florida in what could be 11hrs. We are driving from Fla Panhandle, staying in the State of Florida and it will take us 9+hrs!!

Heck, if you are a Speed Demon, you could beat us there! Just thought that was funny.

(Sitting at the car dealer getting my vehicle ready, for the trip.)

I’m leaving on Thursday, and detouring to Orlando before driving to Boca Raton for Friday night.

hopefully I can find something on Orlando to do on Friday.  😉

(I’ll “walk off” the ship as early as I can to get a good start after the cruise, but don’t want to think about that right now!)

We drove from RDU a couple of weeks ago.   Jacksonville to Daytona Beach was pretty much stop and go.  It took 11 1/2 hrs to get to Port Saint Lucie.   On the way home we left the port at 8:30 in the morning and were home at 9 pm with a couple of short gas stops.   Savanna area was a mess as usual where 95 goes from 3 lanes down to 2.

Thanks for the report.  Looking forward to more--- and pics please!

After your previous post about forgetting your vaccine card, I immediately went to Amazon and ordered that vaccine card holder that another poster mentioned.  It should arrive tomorrow.......my next cruise is not until January.  I keep a "packing list" for trips on my desktop and print it out before each vacation.  I'm adding to it all the time......vaccine card was just added......Yes, I'm a BIG planner.....😚

I ordered a passport holder that has a clear plastic slot that holds your vaccine card too. They have them on Amazon, but I ordered it off Mobstub because it was half what the price is on Amazon. We are on Edge and used the new holders today for boarding.

Den, do you live in the Panhandle, too? I drove down yesterday. The weather was AWFUL.

We got in our cab at 11:30 and were in Luminae by 12:30 after dropping off our carry-on and loading our safe.  Everything was so simple.  And easiest Muster drill ever!  Loving the new version of safety check-in.

Are you in a suite and did you use the Suites guest entrance?

What time were you assigned when you booked?  We are in a suite and have a 1 PM check-in.  Wasn't sure if we could check-in earlier because we're in a suite.

@KKBhow’s the internet onboard?

I’m onboard, and we have steerage class internet in my package. 🤣 Honestly, it allows us to iMessage with my mom (who’s keeping the kids) and check here periodically…and the news. 😬 It does the job!

Having a lovely time onboard. Food is great, passengers are good. Seen a handful of kids and some unvaccinated adults (wristbands and masks). Saw Captain Kate twice, but she was eating pizza one time and in a hurry the other, so I didn’t say anything. A gal deserves to eat pizza without random strangers getting in her space.

So the unvaccinated get to wear the wristbands now. Good to know. Thanks!

The Edge is AMAZING!

When we took our 1st Celebrity cruise 7 years ago we felt it was a bit of a step up in  service & food over Princess & RCCL.

Well, the Edge takes things to a whole new level!!
And half capacity, it feels so luxurious.

Still plenty busy but we love not having to be at anything early to get a seat.

We have a Sunset Veranda & love it.
was able to see Interior (quite spacious,), IV & Sky Suite thx to many gracious Cruise Critic members who allowed a crowd to wander in.

We had an informal group meet yesterday at 10 in Eden of 15ish people. Great people, we had a great time!

Breakfasts: buffet, solid

Lunches: Mast grill (solid, especially w/ myriad of toppings)

Dinner:

Normandie—Baked Brie (FABULOUS) & halibut—very good

Tuscan—salmon tartar, beef tournedos & coconut sorbet, all very good; betwwen the 6 of us we nearly ordered every choice last night & everyone was quite pleased. Need to try the potato flan appetizer next time. (DH had the Carbonara which was oddly but deliciously on egg noodles & the portion was HUGE;)

We have played many game shows & lots of trivia, even tried Deal or No Deal.

Edge has upped their prize game—Edge hats & heavy duty water bottles.

Casino has been good to us. I’ve lost $10 in 3 sessions of video poker; Dan hit 4 deuces last night. Hold Em table was busy after 11.

Comedian was great & friends said the show was great last night.

Silent disco SO much fun as always.

As others have noted, passengers & staff are all so happy to be here—the joy is palpable.

We have noted few service issues.
Funniest was at Club during Disco—twice they cleared our drinks that were fairly full😂

Be sure to tune in for the Captains daily 10am announcement—quite fun.

And Dan may have a crush—she is quite stunning,!

Signing off for now—if u haven’t booked already, DO IT NOW

If you get too hot (or are over the snoring), come to the solarium! That’s where I am.

Loved her daily riddles, was on a back to back with her on Equinox before she moved to the Edge and the only thing I would have changed would be new rotated material so I could hear new stuff on a second leg but on the plus side I knew the answers.

Have been on the Edge since (before Captain Kate took over) and totally agree that class of ship is beautiful, would love to sail Beyond as it looks even a step up from that with the new multilevel bar area at the back of the ship.

Happy sailing!
