Can anyone just off or currently sailing Marci Gras tell me how the casino is?  Do the slots seem extra tight?  Do they have 3 card poker?  I’m on an Ultra cruise August 28th and hadn’t seen any comments on casino.  Thanks in advance😃

@Jimbo5544 has a great thread, he is onboard now, posting info/pictures and answering questions. Even if he isn't up to speed on the casino, Tom-n-Cheryl are also onboard and Tom is both active in the thread, and he is usually very up to speed on the casino. You may get a quicker answer asking on that Horizon/Mardi Gras B2B thread.

Casino has 3 three card tables , 2 in the smoking part and 1 in the nonsmoking part. Slots were hitting big jackpots if you were max betting. One person won 13,000 on a Buffalo machine, someone else hit 10,000 on another slot but not sure what it was. There was many jackpots between 1,000 and 1,500 . Table games have all went to the auto shufflers and I personally though that this put the odds a little further in the houses favor as tables were not paying much at all . New casino design is nice but getting a drink was a challenge, , long waits, but I guess that’s how you shave costs when most of the players have drinks on us cards. We all know how bad the last night is trying to settle up but this cruise was the worst I have ever encountered, the line was so long that it went clear across the casino so keep that in mind. I play tables and had about 80 dollars in chips and finally said to heck with it and just brought them home as I will be on the Horizon in January.

I've heard rumor that some of the newer ships also have two casinos ( one smoking/one non) is the MG this way also ? My wife's the casino 'bug' and she said she didn't 'mind' the smoking one, except the way it made her clothes and hair smell. Women ! The ONLY woman I know that'd rather sit in the casino  the majority of our 2912 seven day Seattle-Alaskan cruise ! Oh well, cranking those slots makes ya happy ? GO for it ! Me, I'd rather take the ship AND the scenery surrounding it in. But,  too each their own poison.
