3Shelaghs Posted August 17, 2021 #1 Share Posted August 17, 2021 https://www.lifelabs.com/flyclear/ I wondered how long it would take for them to get into the mix. It would be great to have an immunity test and then your PCR right after. One stop shop. Heck, your annual lab work too.
K_e_short Posted August 17, 2021 #2 Share Posted August 17, 2021 (edited) Good to know, although when I search for Ottawa it just comes up with the Shoppers Drug Mart locations that I already know about. That’s what I found for Toronto. It doesn’t include the LifeLabs lab that I know near me, so it looks like it is just telling you who is doing the test for Shopper’s.
3Shelaghs Posted August 17, 2021 Author #4 Share Posted August 17, 2021 Ya, me too...Shoppers. They must have partnered up with them. I see there is also a "work clear" for business to set up testing. Prices are still the same = Bandits!!!
Rare gnome12 Posted August 17, 2021 #5 Share Posted August 17, 2021 I do note that there is a 48 hour guarantee for PCR results; I'm not sure if that was there before.
DirtyDawg Posted August 17, 2021 #6 Share Posted August 17, 2021 Shoppers for me too. The pricing is not so bad. My Brother paid $150 USD for his PCR test down in the States.
MaddyandMax Posted August 17, 2021 #7 Share Posted August 17, 2021 My understanding was we could do the cheaper test to get into the US and only need the PCR test to come back into Canada, which should be done by Royal. But maybe I have that wrong. I saw shoppers doing the rapid test for $40.

Has Royal confirmed they do return PCR tests still?
bob&france Posted August 19, 2021 #10 Share Posted August 19, 2021 At the end of July my call in regarding my oct 31/21 cruise had confirmed PCR test given prior to disembarkation. I’ll keep checking though as policies keep changing.
Evilmuffin Posted August 19, 2021 #11 Share Posted August 19, 2021 I spoke to my PCC yesterday and she told me that I would be provided a PCR test from HAL a day or so before disembarkation.
