FCC Transfer to Parent

Has anyone dealt with transferring FCC from a child to parent? I was told it would take 3 days, while today is day 8. I called and they resubmitted it today. I'm trying to book the October 2nd Encore. The only positive is they keep extending my courtesy hold, so I haven't had to made payment. I soon need to get my flights figured out though.

Not sure that the fact that you're transferring to a relative matters.  I've transferred FCCs while making reservations for myself and others in a different cabin.  I wanted to move one of my FCCs to them and they did it on the spot.  But I've had someone transfer one to me a few years back and it took a good week.  Not sure why it's complicated.
