We sat next to a single cruiser in coastal kitchen that booked for every single Oasis cruise out of Bayonne. He was in the crown loft suite next ours. He closed the casino every night at the bar.

I had a solo tablemate that had 39 future cruises booked.  He had just become Pinnacle on the Sept. 5 sail and has 8 straight Oasis cruises booked.  Then he gets on Anthem when she comes to Bayonne.

One interesting fact that he relayed was that although he was P he could not get into the new P lounge of enjoy other perks.  Made no sense to me.

i was just able to snag an 1130 time. since i'm in a suite does that mean i can get on 1030? that seems a bit too good to be true, i know cabins def not ready till 1 or 2 at earliest

That seems really early nowadays. But even 11:30 is pretty good!

Was he a big guy named Matt?   Always cracking jokes and kind of loud?

No his name was Bigelacio. The crew called him Bigs.

I believe Matt was the gentleman who was playing with his family the whole cruise. He hit two 4000.00 handpays, a couple 2000.00 handpays and a 12000.00 handpay. Those are the ones I know of. He was loud but a great guy and good fun.

Great. They should keep it that way.

I’ll be the one with the minority opinion here. I hope the buffet goes back to the way it was. It’s a lot slower when they serve you, sometimes there was no one around. Not a fan of asking for more lettuce for my salad as they add one leaf at a time, maybe one tomato and one chick pea. It’s always a challenge to get food from a couple stations hot at the same time, even harder if it all takes longer.

I promise I won’t put my hands in the mashed potatoes 🙄. I don’t doubt that people’s observations have occurred but in 40 cruises I haven’t seen it.  If staff serving remains, it will be be used the cruise line has determined that less food is needed, not any other goal.

That is just wild.  I just cannot imagine spending that much time on a ship.  I would 1 become diabetic and 2 be a new member or gamblers anonymous.

sorry if this was covered - but I searched.

I am on Oasis on the 24th... can't wait... first RC... got a 3pm slot, but I'm in a Grand Suite and I've called 2x now and they said you can arrive with Priority Embarkation at 12:30p... Hearing 11:30a on this board too... especially with Priority in a Suite... anyone else have that experience or a different one?  Would hat to arrive at 12 noon and sit until 3... especially since I live 20 minutes away (so close but yet so far...) 🙂  Thanks!!!

I'm platinum on NCL and they never give us a time... but this is first RCL AND post-covid... any advice is great!!

You can’t take advantage of the perks until your next cruise, unfortunately.

how do you reconcile 645 MTD with 8pm aqua show? will dinner be that fast? or i guess can i order MDR from room service at 530. even if that takes 1 hour it helps out a lot

where is the suite section of aqua? they release seats at some point to the public dont they?
