I’m sitting in my stateroom waiting to head to sea.
Here are my thoughts about boarding.
1) Come whenever you want. No one even looked at our scheduled boarding time, even if we were three hours early.
2) Aurea Priority boarding didn’t mean a thing.
3) First stop upon arriving is the metal detector. Stop number two was having someone check our Vaccination card and Negative (yay!), tests. Those two steps took ten minutes total.
From there we queued up for a 15 minute wait for the “gate agent” to issue us our room key, scan our passports and take a photo.  He also scanned our vaccination records.
Once the formalities were done we walked up the ship bridge and boarded. Total time I’d say was a half hour.
Entering the ship a crew member scanned our room card and welcomed us aboard.
A string of crew tried to direct us toward a photo station but we managed to break free and grab an elevator to our room, which was read, even though we were told rooms weren’t available until two pm.
The room, a B2 Aurea balcony on deck 11 is nice. Nothing special to note about it.
We headed to the buffet, grabbed a bite and wandered the ship for a bit, stopping to book a couple of massages at the spa.
That’s it for now. Maybe more later….

Thanks!  We leave on the Divina next week (9-30).  Anxious to hear more and see the answers to questions asked above.

Very interested about the boarding time.  Anyone else have recent experience and able to confirm that they did not check the "scheduled boarding time"?  I would hate to go and be turned away if your experience was a fluke but I would also like to board as soon as we get to the port.  We have a B2 balcony cabin too so loved the pictures!  Thanks.

hope you have a great cruise and I will look forward to seeing more.

Hope your Wi-Fi is working OK!  We will be on the September 26 sailing. Could you possibly post the drink package price list since I don’t have the drink package and I’m curious what the prices are. Is your Wi-Fi working OK? What’s the entertainment like? Keep us posted thanks. First timer for the MSC!
