PGPrendy Posted September 20, 2021 #1 Share Posted September 20, 2021 Good day, everyone! It's been a while since I've been on these boards, but I logged in today to search for info on Grandeur of the Seas. I've searched, but did't see anything on it. Please forgive me if I missed it, but has there been any word on whether Grandeur will go into dry dock / be refurbished or refreshed before its sailings from Barbados? Thanks in advance! If she does, there likely won't be anything done very noticeable to customers.
rmr236 Posted September 20, 2021 #3 Share Posted September 20, 2021 She was parked next to us at SXM. Lots of construction noise.

Unfortunately I also was looking for anything but nothing. We will have to wait until we get closer to the first sailing which I believe is December 5th.

Pumbaamd Posted September 23, 2021 #8 Share Posted September 23, 2021 We were on Adventure for her first B2B in June. Made two stops in Grand Bahamas and Grandeur was in the shipyard there maybe 200 yards away from Adventure both times. 1

Royal is terrible answering emails and trying o get a hold of them by calling. Twice I was on hold for over 20 minutes then the call drops off.

Unless she leaves the fleet before her season in Barbados, there's a good chance that they'll add her to the app.
SRF Posted October 5, 2021 #17 Share Posted October 5, 2021 Where would she go? Unless the send her straight to scrap. Not a very big market for used cruise ships these days.
