Hi

Can anybody tell me how much the Taxi from the airport to port is and do they take cards ? Many thanks

USD $23/BDS $46. Most taxis do not take credit cards, from what I've seen. But they do accept US cash if you have it; otherwise, you might need to get cash from an ATM or currency exchange at the airport. Taxis don't have meters, but there are published rates for every trip. At the airport, a dispatcher will write out a ticket for you and it will show the rate.

Many thanks cruiseej I have just checked my currency stock and I have  $22 in small and $ 100 bills so will have to get some small bills from the bank.

Betting they will also accept British currency.   The large number of travelers from Great Britain would make them very familiar with your currency.

Perhaps, but the signs in the airport and on the airport website list only US and Barbados currency. I don't know if a Taxi driver will do the math to perform a conversion for any other currencies.
