Endlessquest Posted September 28, 2021 #1 Share Posted September 28, 2021 My wife and I will be sailing on the Sunrise 5nt Bahamas departing October 23. Will this be a loud party cruise that Carnival is known for or more subdued due to lower capacity? We are in our 60's and wouldn't mind a quieter 5 days. Schoifmom Posted September 28, 2021 #2 Share Posted September 28, 2021 YMMV, but I have found that I can find a quiet spot when I want one and join in the party when I want to. Your cruise is really what you make of it. In my experience, 5 days are hit or miss. If it is over a long weekend, it tends to be more of a party. If not, then it tends to be a little bit more like a 7 day cruise. 1
TBBucman Posted September 28, 2021 #3 Share Posted September 28, 2021 Just got off the Sunrise and had a great time. Not crowded at all and service was great. Embarkation and Debarkation was fast, Muster drill took 45 seconds. Spent most of our time in Casino and left happy! Will definitely cruise Sunrise again, nice break from the bigger ships. 1
mcgore83 Posted September 29, 2021 #4 Share Posted September 29, 2021 No problem. Just got off the Sunrise. Lots of areas to find peace and quiet. Enjoy! 1

Since the capacity is probaly around 60 to 70 percent, was there an opportunity to upgrade your cabin once you boarded the ship? Or is that something you should reach out for a few days before sailing?
