CoSec Posted September 29, 2021 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2021 All travellers arriving at Athens airport are potentially subject to random COVID testing at the entry gates, irrespective of any test or vaccine certificates they may have. Has anyone travelling to join a Seabourn cruise ship at Piraeus experienced this? If so, how long does it hold you up in having the test and waiting for results before you can exit arrivals? markham Posted September 29, 2021 #2 Share Posted September 29, 2021 We had this experience upon arriving at ATH. We had taken the BA evening-arriving flight from LHR in late June. The test took all of 3 minutes in our case. The airport was very quiet so hardly an inconvenience as far as getting to our transport. Happy and healthy sailing!
