I was on the Brilliance with my sister in February 2019, when the ship was delayed 10 hours because of fog.  The Captain was very good about providing frequent updates.  At one point, in his heavy accent, he said, “It iss what it iss!”  And that is the way I pronounce it to this day.

So after a couple enjoyable liquid appetizers, we had steak hoagies. Then very happy that the rain stopped so we leisurely stumbled back to our hotel. Very happy we got some steps in.                        ( the hotel was across the street).  I bet we hit 900 steps today.  Well below our 10,000 steps a  day.  
 

Tomorrow will be an early day. Alarms (4) set for

So that means we will get up at

Good morning from Cleveland. 
Alarm went off and off and off. 
Ty whomever invented snooze. 
 

Good morning. Oh already said that. DH went to lobby got coffee.  Shower and off to airport at 4:30.

Made it to the airport. 
First in line for checking in 

TSA a breeze by following directions and TSA pre-check.  
2 Dunkin Donuts and bottle water $5.30   Shared donut with the DH. Since he has the $$. Not that I want to spend some quality time in the casino.

Arrived in Atlanta. 
 

I forgot when flying in from the north you fly over the airport and do a 150 degree turn. ( at least that’s what our pilot did ).

It is so unusual to see half empty corridors in airport.  Must be because it’s a weekday. 
 

So if you have ever been here it is BIG. We landed in concourse B gate 30, and after breakfast walked to concourse E gate 30. Walked 3,425 1.2 miles. I survived.

Ok. Cleared for takeoff.

Due to weather conditions in Florida we are under a one hour delay on the runway.  I am so glad I wore a sweater and tank top on plane in case it got cold.  😳

 

Better safe than sorry.

We traveled through Denver airport last month on a weekday(Sept 22), before 11am, and it was PACKED.  I was very surprised.

So. We did not go back to terminal. Landed about 4:10 

 

Bad turbulence. Some of the flight attendants compartments flung open in galley. 
 

First class got fed. They asked us what we wanted.  Um.  Potatoe chip bag. Or granola bar. 
 

Then a flight attendant reheated her lasagna.  
Smelled really good

 

Driver was waiting at baggage claim. And off to Miami. 
 

It is what it is.
