Booking future cruise on board

Anyone had experience with booking a future cruise while on board with RCCL?  We are actually considering waiting to book the 2nd half of a back to back while on the ship. What if any are the advantages?  Lower price? OBC?  With ships going out partially full, we were hoping they may be offering something special to keep you on the ship. Thanks in advance for any assistance you may be able to provide.

The only benefit I have found is the OBC you get.  We like everyone else has been land bound due to Covid so I am missing my credit on this 1st cruise. Will book next cruise while onboard. Good luck with your booking experience
