Sail away MK Posted October 13, 2021 #1 Share Posted October 13, 2021 For those of you who have been to Loreto, are there taxi vans to take us into town if the shuttle from Pichelingue is not ready? We have an early independent excursion and I am afraid if I wait for a shuttle bus to fill, I may miss my time.
Ine Posted October 14, 2021 #2 Share Posted October 14, 2021 I think you mix up 2 different places. Pichilingue is the port for the town of La Paz. Very likely you can book a shuttle with your cruiseline. Loreto is a tender port and you can walk into the town.
Sail away MK Posted October 14, 2021 Author #3 Share Posted October 14, 2021 Oops, thanks for the catch. I had the correct city in the title but not in my post. Princess does have a free shuttle, but I was just concerned with how often they run. It is a 30 minute shuttle ride and I'm thinking of a whale shark swim which begins in La Paz 1 hour after we dock in Pichillingue.

If I remember well there were cabs waiting for passengers, but of course no guarantee and I donot how early they will be there. No personal experience you can check e.g. this website: https://www.rome2rio.com/s/La-Paz-Mexico/Pichilingue-Baja-California-Sur-Mexico
Sail away MK Posted November 15, 2021 Author #5 Share Posted November 15, 2021 Any idea where the Princess shuttle drops you off in La Paz? I need to get to the Kiosk from bis drop off point to meet a tour. Is that walkable?
