Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay- When will renovations end?

Hello, 

We are cruising out of Miami at the end of April. I reserved a room at Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay, but my latest email says that the balcony may not be available & noise will happen during renovation. The reason I chose this hotel was the idea of sitting on the balcony admiring water views. 

I tried to call & ask about the expected completion date for renovations, but there was a long hold time.

  Does anyone know when they expect to finish the renovations?

Or should I pick a different hotel?

Given that they are already warning you about on going noise and possible unavailability of your balcony, I would definitely cancel and pick another hotel.  Renovations are seldom completed earlier than expected.

Thanks, I was finally able to call the hotel. I was told that they will not be finished with renovations until December of 2022! April 2022 will be their time to renovate the pool & marina areas, so no scenic view there. I canceled and will book elsewhere.

Is this the JW Marriott or the other? If you need another hotel, the JW is lovely!

The other, Marriott Biscayne Bay on N Bayshore Dr, a renovation slog. The JW Marriott is in Brickell/Miami.
