Car rental at port vs hiring cab

We are two couples arriving in st Maarten on nov 29.  We have stayed in the island before so just want to hit some top spots during the day.  Only car rental near port is costal; looked at their site and a small car with all insurances (we want no headaches and not worried about the cost) is about $190 for 8 am to 3 pm. I’ve driven on the island before and don’t drink so no worries there.  But the idea of being driven around is interesting. How much would it cost to hire one of the cabs waiting at the port for that period of time?  We’d hit the yacht club for bridge opening, maybe Marigot and/or grand case (lolos) and some time on orient beach and a swing by oyster pond.   Any info appreciated.
