One problem is they only have so many serving dishes and they have to then be seriously sanitized between serving customers so is time consuming and a lot of work. The early birds get the snacks and the late comers may have to wait

I noticed Valor doesn't offer the seafood tower/$60 on the MDR menu. We'll be on Horizon and Vista before Valor next July. Afraid I'll become hooked on the more extensive food options on the bigger ships. Did you feel like you were missing out on Valor compared to Horizon? Glory and Valor have a sushi thing instead. As for seafood towers, you should be able to put something similar together from the Seafood Shack. But no, I didn't miss Horizon when on Valor. Valor does have a Red Frog Pub which isn't on Horizon. Horizon does have the Pig and Anchor Brewpub, though. 1
Monalis Posted November 7, 2021 #79 Share Posted November 7, 2021 One last question. I saw some pictures on the staterooms. Are there really USB ports on the bedside tables now?

Rare BlerkOne Posted November 8, 2021 Author #81 Share Posted November 8, 2021 One minor gripe is the pizza place wouldn't let me customize a pizza like I have done on two other Carnival cruises this year. I managed to survive just fine.

I think it really depends on the crew

Indeed it does, but only Breeze and Magic actually serve food. " RedFrog Pub Get into an island state of mind before you even set foot on one. RedFrog® Pub is our laid-back, no-worries, oh-so-lively Key West-inspired pub. Sample Caribbean fare, dominate at the foosball table, enjoy some sweet tunes from live musicians and sip our tasty signature private-label brew, ThirstyFrog® Red. So kick back and feel the island vibe come to life. You’ll be a local here before you know it. Note: Food menu is available on Carnival Breeze® and Carnival Magic®, for an additional cost."
txgal08 Posted November 12, 2021 #89 Share Posted November 12, 2021 Two more questions - can you tell me more about the sushi you mentioned above? I was on the Breeze and never got around to it! And are there hammocks in the serenity area?
