Webecruzen Posted November 22, 2021 #355 Share Posted November 22, 2021 What a great and fun meal! We were in a food coma for sure when we rolled out of Teppanyaki. Patti caught Jim again with his eyes closed…Resting up for all that food! 2

Patti and I have always been MDR people, but when we were on the Horizon in August things changed. We had Your Time Dining and were enjoying dinner on the first Elegant night. They proceeded to sit another couple at the table 4" from us even though there was plenty of empty space throughout the dining room. Nothing against the other couple but what happened to social distancing? We ate in the buffet or at "other" venues the rest of that cruise. When you think about it, most of what is being served in the MDR is available at the lido. The food comes from the same place, it's just plated and made pretty for you in the MDR. On the Panorama we didn't eat in the dining room except for brunch. We ate at the "other " venues for 6 nights and the buffet one night. We are doing a B2B on the Mardi Gras in April and I see us eating in the MDR only once or twice. 😎 Interesting that you left main dining bc of the way they sat. we were on Miracle and did the same. They sat all the 2 tops in a row. so we were 4 inches from a couple on either side. of course we chatted with them both but its just odd they do not spread them out. They moved a sign that said reserved bc of social distancing, to seat us, twice.🙂

Rare Jamman54 Posted November 23, 2021 Author #358 Share Posted November 23, 2021 Day # 17 (October 25th) - Fun Day at Sea # 2! We were up at 7 am to a beautiful day. Here are today’s “Fun Times”….. Patti wasn’t hungry for breakfast, so I went to the Ocean Plaza to get something to eat. Jim and Pat were eating outside on the Lanai, so I grabbed a plate and joined them. Saint Greg was out there as well, enjoying his morning coffee before heading to the Sea Day Brunch. Today is going to be a Halloween themed day, with Halloween trivia, Patch’s pumpkin hunt, pumpkin carving, Thriller dance class, costume contest, and finally a Halloween deck party. The Dreamscape would have Halloween themes as well….. At 9:30 we went to the Morning Show where Lee, JJ, and Christian were dressed for the occasion….. They talked about all of the fun Halloween stuff that was going to happen today. To be continued……
Rare Jamman54 Posted November 23, 2021 Author #359 Share Posted November 23, 2021 Afterwards, we stayed for the Military Appreciation Show hosted by Lee, and it was extremely well done, and very emotional. Next up was the Diamond Event….. The event was held in the Limelight Lounge. I believe there were about 60 Diamond members on board this cruise….. Kedroy was entertaining us on the piano….. Captain Luca Lazzarino addressed the gathering….. The drinks were flowing freely, and they served some pretty awesome snacks….. Here is our table picture which they gave to us for free….. To be continued…..
Rare Jamman54 Posted November 23, 2021 Author #360 Share Posted November 23, 2021 Afterwards, we stopped next door at the Heroes Tribute Bar, which is empty right now, but later will be full for Monday Night Football….. I just wanted to show you the wall decorations in the Heroes Tribute Bar….. To be continued…..
Rare Jamman54 Posted November 23, 2021 Author #361 Share Posted November 23, 2021 Next, we made our way up to the Red Frog Rum Bar for some drinks, and to watch the pumpkin carving….. For the pumpkin carving there will be three contestants, along with Lee and another crewmember….. This event is being hosted by JJ….. The crewmember is definitely a ringer! Lee’s creation isn’t too bad….. To be continued…..
Rare Jamman54 Posted November 23, 2021 Author #362 Share Posted November 23, 2021 Here are the three contestant’s pumpkins. As usual, the puking pumpkin wins again! Don’t remember if we showed you this yet. But here is the Towel Hut and Life Jacket stand by the Main Pool….. Next up is the Deal or no Deal game show in the Liquid Lounge….. Marky Mark is selling game cards for $25 each or 2/$40….. The idea is to match as many cases as you can to win the better prizes. For instance, if the contestant on stage picks case # 7 and it’s $50, if the # 7 on your card is $50, then you have a match. The computer picks the on stage contestant from all of the cards sold….. This is the game board, and some in play action….. This is the audience prize board. You have to have at least two matches to win anything….. smellywax Posted November 23, 2021 #363 Share Posted November 23, 2021 Can you explain the programming the elevators? So when you walk up to the set of elevators, is this when you do it and what is involved?

Rare Jamman54 Posted November 23, 2021 Author #367 Share Posted November 23, 2021 After Deal or no Deal we were heading back to the cabin when we spotted SG at the Alchemy Bar. We had a drink with him, and then went and hung out at the Havana Pool area for a couple of hours enjoying the views of the wake….. Tonight all four of us will be eating at JiJi Asian Kitchen. We had all bought the Specialty Dining Package which we will be using for the first time….. The Chefs are hard at work….. Here are our place settings and menu….. These were the selections all four of us made. Everything that is ordered is shared….. To be continued…..
Rare Jamman54 Posted November 23, 2021 Author #368 Share Posted November 23, 2021 We had a choice of three different sauces…. This was compliments of the Chefs….. These were the three appetizers we ordered. This is the pork belly….. These are the pot stickers….. These are the chicken rolls….. These were the three mains that we ordered. This is the Kung Pao chicken….. This is the sweet and sour shrimp….. These are the short ribs….. Everyone had fried rice with either shrimp or chicken….. For dessert we ordered the crepes and crème brulee….. What a fantastic meal. It was easily our best meal of the cruise! Rare Jamman54 Posted November 23, 2021 Author #371 Share Posted November 23, 2021 We had some time before tonight’s late Playlist Production show, so we stopped at the Alchemy Bar for a couple of cocktails. We wanted to try to get our favorite seats for the show, so we made our way to the Liquid Lounge about ten minutes before the doors opened. Passing through the atrium we saw another Halloween Dreamscape….. We got the seats that we wanted, which is the high top just in front of the bar. These seats give you a perfect, unobstructed view of the whole show. Patti loves these seats for taking pictures. Here are Jim and I….. Tonight’s Playlist Production Show is “Soulbound”, which fits in perfectly with the Halloween theme of today. Here are some pre-show pictures….. Cruise Director Lee Mason introduces the show….. Here are some views of the show, which has become the favorite of Patti and I….. To be continued…..

Rare Jamman54 Posted November 23, 2021 Author #374 Share Posted November 23, 2021 Leaving the Liquid Lounge we pass through the Atrium where the Dreamscape has another Halloween scene….. Say Play is performing in the Atrium….. Heading aft, the Panorama Rockband is playing in the Ocean Plaza….. Back in the Havana Bar you can party with the Latin sounds of Midnight Project…. Back at the cabin we find tonight’s towel creature. Goodnight! Coming up next: Land Ho! We arrive in Puerto Vallarta!
