Good morning everyone. Just remembered it was Thursday.  Hope th finds everyone safe, healthy and motivated not to gain over the holidays.

 

I’m ain’t  maintaining.   Getting covid booster today..

Good Morning.   Izena hope your covid booster goes well.  I had no problems with the booster except for an itchy arm where the shot was.

 

I weighed last week, but did not post and forgot to write it down.  I know I was up from before Thanksgiving.  Today I weighed myself and I am down 0.8# from my weight a week before the holiday.  I will take it!

Izena ~ thanks for starting the thread. Hope your booster goes okay. I'm planning on getting mine a week from today when I'm also having a root canal & filling, unless the tooth requires a cap.

 

Jan ~ good for you being down. WIsh I could say the same but my snacking has put me up a pound! I baked some Mexican Wedding cakes this week & can't resist them or the usual chocolate & salty snacks.😢

Had my booster last week. That went well, but last Thursday I had an accident and tore my Gluteus Maximus which is a literal pain in the butt! Even with not being able to exercise, Thanksgiving pie and my pity party I threw for myself involving chocolate truffles when I got home from the ER. I somehow only gained 1 lb last week. I need all the encouragement I can get because it is very tempting to just say forget it and eat all the Christmas treats!

Mommyof3sweet boys - I am so sorry that you tore your muscle - but, it is good that you only gained 1 pound.  Do not let the **** that you are going though derail your weight loss motivation .... keep posting and let us know how you are doing.  Glad you got your booster.   Jan

I’ve been trying to post since 12/4 Saturday.   I’ve retyped etc.

 

Booster went well.

Kayaking with park system went great - need to get a comfortable life jacket.  
 

Mommy sorry abt your injury hope your feeling better.  
 

TN bunch lack of communication and consideration is very hurtful - it’s  11 days until their cruise out of Galveston and I still don’t know  their plans — do I pick them up at airport ( which airport?  Flight info? How are they getting to port? )   The stress is turning on my sugar cravings.

Just wanted to say Hello.  I'm fine enjoying the cruises.

Was nice and hot in Mexico, in the 80's, one day 88.

Like that better then Jan's snow.

 

Jan your on your cruise soon. Is Ombud on hers now?

 

Sounds like your all doing pretty well for being the Holidays.

Keep it up with no or even only little gains. Loss's would be our goals

but not gaining is really great!

Belle, Yes, you are very much missed.  So, tell us about your cruise - are you winning at the casino?  I just got a email from Royal Caribbean that says I have many offers of free casino cruises - unfortunately they are in January and February and most are about 4 days - I have to pass.

 

I'm getting ready for our cruise - tomorrow is the covid test (keep fingers crossed) and then leave on Friday and on the ship on Saturday .... I so need this, but, I just want everything to be ok and go smoothly.  DH lost a front tooth back about 6 months ago and has been going to the dentist to get everything straightened out and to have a tooth implanted .... they were to have it all done today .... now unfortunately the tooth won't be available until the end of the month --- he is disappointed, I think he should just smile all he wants ... if people are shocked by his teeth that is their problem.
