JamminJan Posted December 12, 2021 #1 Share Posted December 12, 2021 Deck 14 pros & cons to the central park balcony and/or the boardwalk balcony? I'm thinking of moving from central park to boardwalk for partial water view. Any thoughts?

That way miniature golf will be above me instead of a pool. I was thinking the golf might be quieter in the evenings.
Rare wrldtrvllr Posted December 30, 2021 #4 Share Posted December 30, 2021 Do you have to stay on 14? Central Park in general is much quieter than BW but I have not been on deck 14 in either place—have done decks 10, 11 and 12 on both and enjoyed each. We prefer BW for the people watching, aqua theater view and partial ocean view but the trade off is noise from aqua theater when something is going on there. With balcony door locked it was not a problem for us even during very loud aqua theater show on Oasis earlier this month (cabin 11729–excellent view of show and ocean which would be even better on Allure without the purple slide (ultimate abyss). Saw and enjoyed the show multiple times from balcony. Deck 14 will have the bridge structure blocking some of the view and I’ve been told deck 14 Central Park will have the noise of deck chairs being moved morning and evening. First picture is Oasis Dec 6 from room 11729. Second from Harmony room 11719, third is Allure cabin 11723 i believe
firefly333 Posted December 30, 2021 #5 Share Posted December 30, 2021 (edited) I too booked the end of boardwalk for the aft view and also the double wide city park balcony to save some money. One is closed in and the other open. I've booked both. I think my TA booked me on deck 11 though, not 14. Deck 14 was all they had left in the handicap rooms, so I'm stuck on 14.

I change the cabin to the BW hoping to still be able to see the ocean.

I wouldn’t book one any longer unless I was in Allure. Your 3rd Pic really captures the difference well.
