Day 9

 

Final breakfast onboard and revisiting all the hits.    No more Shaq’s big chicken till the Celebration next year.  Done with breakfast by 8:00AM and went back to the room to start the debarkation process.

We started our process (at elevator) 8:15 and we got out to the rental car shuttle area by 8:50 AM. I would say that’s pretty speedy.  There are already people standing in line at the 11AM section waiting to board.

Thank you for coming along!  The next Carnival one will be on the holiday Celebration cruise but our next cruise will be on Celebrity Apex so come along if you can’t wait that long for the Celebration 😆

Day 9

 

First stop back on dry land… Starbucks.  Then back to Universal.  We decided not to fly on the busiest day of the year so we are staying in Orlando until tomorrow evening.  The flight is not as full and 1/2 the price to fly after 5PM.

If the Covid test goes well, we will board on 1/8/2022.  We will be masking up and stay away from people 😝 just so we can pass the test!  I will come back and post another update and the review will be on the Celebrity board.

It feels so free to have 5G so I will be posting some videos I took onboard where allowed.  You are not allowed to do anything at Family Feud.  They were playing the Titanic theme song while chipping away a at the iceberg during the ice sculpture demonstration.

Good call - there was an article in the paper this morning that specifically mentioned MCO being a cluster* due to all the flight cancellations over Christmas.  

 

Great review - loved all the pics.  I finally reached diamond on Carnival and since they do absolutely nothing to acknowledge that us solo cruisers pay double, I'll be following your Celebrity review.  Time to move on.   :)

Thank you so much!  Yeah I just knew MCO would not be a happening for us today being a Sunday and day after Christmas so we will be waiting this one out.  We have cruised with Celebrity many times and truly enjoyed the service onboard and being pampered even just in regular cabins.  Once you move to aqua class or suite class you don’t really need to do anything at all.  It is a very different experience.  Hopefully if all goes well 1/8/22 the review will be live on Celebrity board.
