@Missusdubbyatonight was Poblano soup in MDR. I've started ordering a bowl instead of two cups. Tonights was a bucket😉

omg John life goals! Also interesting about additional goodies 😁

(I will finally be back on board in September on Vision so am going to shamelessly copy your soup exploits!)

Yes.

Have had several meetings with zoom or face time.

don’t think you really need to get back to “weird  on Harmony as I am on harmony and I’m not finding anything weird.  Perhaps we have to adapt to a minor change or two because of the circumstances, but nothing I would categorize as weird.

Don't tell me about the "weird" comment, I didn't start(name) this thread.

Here's the after picture to show how big it was

But something was missing. Turns out the waiters add all the goodies before adding the soup

Since mine was special ordered for size, the goodies got overlooked. Now overall, the soup was fantastic. I should have spoke up earlier to get the corn, peppers, and chorizo.

In the end they brought me a cup and I built it myself

I'm guessing I had 4 cups of soup tonight🤣🤣

I loved that soup but just one bowl and I was full. I couldnt have done 4 bowls at one sitting. Too bad you cant get it to go and stick it in a microwave for breakfast. My favorite thing in Mdr, except for lobster of course. That soup is particularly filling.

Laura paid for her cruise lol and probably enough pts racked up to get new casino offers. Now you need to get busy. Hahaha. Kidding. Let laura, she is on a roll obviously.

More likely using the rooms to house crew.

Makes sense. Or they are "clean" rooms for next week. On Symphony in October we were told that they were "rotating " certain cabins so that turns around would be faster due to the need for deeper cleaning between cruises.

She put in $100 and was down to about $11

Overall this game, FireBall Link I think, has been very good to her. She charged $200 to the room on Sunday, and now has (12) $100 bills in her safe.

I had no luck on Dancing Drums

"her" safe?  Are you guys doing separate cabins again?

We must be having breakfast in the “quiet” chops. Breakfast has been delightful, food and service beyond superb, and a wonderful way to start the day. Have not experienced crowds last week or this week. (They were only 75 pinnacles on board).  we have not found it crowded or noisy

Sorry your experience was not as delightful as ours has been

Our experience in Chops last week for breakfast was fabulous.  Loved it, maybe 3-4 couples in there when we dined, very quiet, excellent service.

Not sure when you were in there yesterday, but we went in right at 8 am, as did John and Laura, a few tables behind us... and "Cowboy" who ate with us due to tables taken.  We all had the same experience.  Place was packed, every table filled in about 10 minutes.  Very noisy, slower service to be expected, but not really a problem.  It was not the quiet atmosphere as usual for us.  Maybe very loud conversations do not bother you.....but it does me in that small space, and Bucky had to take out his hearing aids to muffle it.

Last week was only 41 Pinnacles...75 this week and I think everyone of them was in there at 8 am.

She is very happy

Mask lowered for photo-op😷

I'd be happy too.  Some day, my ship will come in😁

On Oasis initial sail from Bayonne, there were 2 big winners and playing penny slots.  One was for $20k and the other announced as $13k.  I was near the $20k winner and she was playing some Chinese character slot and at $8 a pop.

I've found it noisy at times. Especially yesterday when captain was explaining what was going on in CC. I just about yelled at the table next to us to shut up so we could hear.

The food and service has been phenomenal though. And this is the first one that hasn't felt like a meat locker temperature wise

LOL...that's for sure!!  😉  Was all that extra body heat in there keeping it warm.  😄 😄

Toast with an officer is Friday

Yeah, I thought we did not get that invite as well.  Talked to Isabeth on deck 4, she told me there was some reason with the dining room that we are not doing  the usual lunch right after the Upper tier.

See you for lunch on Friday.  🙂

The original invitation was for yesterday. Haven’t gotten a new one yet.
