We are new to Crystal (and new to luxury cruising).  We were fortunate to take two Crystal cruises in 2021 -- one to Bermuda in September, and a Caribbean Holiday cruise in December.  I summarized my experiences from those two cruises and wrote this blog post covering my top picks for reasons to love a Crystal cruise!

Contrarely to some other ships she is in decent condition 

When I started to cruise on "luxury" level Vistafjord in June in 1990 , the interior and the cabines were not updated since her start in 1973 - the cabins were every basic  no fridge no television ...dated bathrooms  worn carpets 

The luxury were the service and the dining room in those days 

Crystal very often updated the  Symphony ...

Having just spent 2 weeks (well, 15 days since we had that extra day sailing to Bimini!) in a Seabreeze Penthouse on the Symphony, I can say that it was as modern as anything on the other luxury lines. These suites were almost new when the pause occurred. I had some complaints about the design but not about the beautiful condition of the suite. Public areas have been remodeled several times in the life of the ship. I am very sad at the thought that I probably won't experience her again.

Crystal Symphony was my favorite ship. I agree, the Seabreeze Penthouse was as modern as anything else on the waters.
