Land based casino comp cruise on NCL question

Hey 🙂 hope someone here might be able to help. I originally got this cruise through a land based casino. This is the first time I have cruised with NCL. Does NCL offer anything to land based players or not? I have heard mixed things and not sure. Originally I was told priority boarding etc but now since this cruise has been cancelled and rescheduled I'm not sure if anything anymore 🤣. I already have a second cruise booked from a separate offer and was told conflicting info. Do I need to get a new players card on NCL? How does all of that good stuff work. Thanks in advance.

We started out cruising with NCL from a land-based casino offer so let me see if I can answer your questions.   (Since then, we get our comped cruises directly from NCL's Casinos at Seas.)

Depending on the port, there is usually a 'Casino-invited guest' line at check-in that you would qualify for.   It might not be the shortest lines, but it could help.    Boarding is usually based on when you arrived at the terminal & got through check-in.  They will board Haven guests and a couple of special categories first and then board by a numbered boarding group you will be given after checking in,

As a 'Casino-invited guest', you should have an envelope from CAS waiting in your room.  It will have casino players card with an attached 'Free drinks while playing' card.  This card can get you a couple of things like bottle water & energy drinks that are not available with the Free At Sea drink packages. It won't get you the premium drinks in the casino unless you earn a higher tier card. (We personally don't select the FAS packages as we get everything we want in the casino when it is open.  You will have to decide what works best for you.)

If you are playing slots, make sure you have your players card or your room keycard in the machine to get credit.  You also can receive credit at tables, but I'm not an expert at that.  At the end of the cruise if you have earned more than 2500 points, the host can use it to comp at least $25 off your on-board account.  If you play significantly more, they can give you additional comps off your bill.   You can also convert the points to freeplay to use in the machines.

If you continue to sail with NCL and play onboard, you can reach higher tiers in their players club.  At the various levels, you may have $100, 200, 400 or more OBC waiting for you when you board.  This is in addition to other comps you might earn during that cruise.  There are additional benefits we receive each cruise at the higher Tiers.

Thank you so much. :0) we have been on other lines that we got from the casino but never NCL. Can't wait to give it a try. ❤️
