Which side of the ship?

If you are traveling from Argentina to Antartica via a big Celebrity Ship, is there a preferred side of the boat to be on to see the landscapes?

They will rotate the ship during the touring of Antarctica so all get to see the continent.

 

Where in Argentina are you embarking from?

If you’re sailing south on the east coast of Argentina, the port side will give you a view of the squid fleet. Look for the glow of a city on the eastern horizon, where there isn’t any land.

so, you're saying one should be on the "ocean facing side", not the "land facing side"?   I would have guessed the opposite.

Ships typically sail too far offshore to have land in sight, so you might as well enjoy the seaward spectacle. Especially since the lights can be seen from such an astonishingly long distance.
