Super Bowl broadcast onboard Ovation

Hi all. Do you know if Seabourn will broadcast the Super Bowl?  If so,  in which venue?  Thanks!

It's pretty certain that it will be broadcast. Whether they do it in the theater, the card room, or possibly the pool deck isn't known; we'd need someone currently Ovation to ask one of the executives what the plans are for two weeks from now.

I've been on-board for multiple Super Bowls.  Each time it was in shown the Grand Salon, with beer, popcorn, hotdogs, etc. and of course anything esle anyone wanted.

It was also shown on the in suite television.  I watched from the comfort of my bed.

I remember one very regular passenger fighting for this game to be broadcast.  SS shelled out $10,000 to have it in The Bar.....maybe it was showroom.  Five people watched it.   That would have been about eighteen years ago.

I'm not sure what you're questioning, but yes, the cost and availability of all satellite communications, including Internet and TV, has changed significantly since 18 years ago.

It was a joke.   The only thing I would dispute is the per minute cost of my satellite phone.

Can anyone confirm if it was shown this year on Ovation?  Considering a 2023 sailing during Super Bowl Sunday but I would push it back if they do not show it.  Thank you!
