That location would be less impacted in terms of up and down motion as that is felt progressively more as you go forward.  Side to side would be felt the same anywhere on the ship, so that's moot.  It also on a low enough deck to minimize the motion.

 

But rough seas can happen anywhere anytime and, depending on how heavy the seas, can be felt anywhere on the ship. But that IMO is a good location.  The views from that location are one of our favorites as well and, as a result, aft facing staterooms are a first choice with us.
